La procesión

La procesión celebrada en Capella, el pasado día 3 de Septiembre, con motivo de la XXXVIII Romería “Vírgenes de la Ribagorza”, discurrió a través de las principales calles del municipio engalanadas para la ocasión con estandartes de color banco y azul marino, rematados con crespones de idénticas tonalidades.
La decoración y atavío de las imágenes con flores, ramajes, cintas y demás enlucimientos, por parte de sus fieles y devotos, tuvo lugar en la remodelada placeta de la Iglesia. Concluidas aquellas labores, sobre las 11:30 horas, arrancó del antedicho lugar la marcha de la procesión con destino al recinto polideportivo, donde tuvo lugar la misa.
La primera en enfilar la Calle de la Iglesia fue la imagen de la “Virgen María”, perteneciente a la parroquia de San Martín de Capella y anfitriona del evento. A ésta siguieron las imágenes de pueblos de la zona como: El Soler, Laguarres o Lascuarre. La comitiva descendió por la citada calle, hasta dar un giro a la izquierda justo a la altura del Centro Social de la localidad, para continuar su recorrido por la Calle Mayor y acabar desembocando en la Plaza del pueblo. Una nueva curva, esta vez a la derecha, hizo descender el cortejo por la Calle El Molino hasta las inmediaciones de la antigua carpintería, punto a partir del cual el itinerario discurrió sobre la calzada de la Carretera A-1605 en dirección Graus.
Finalmente, sobre las 11:50 horas, la procesión culminó con su entrada en el recinto polideportivo a través del acceso a la Zona del Merendero (provista de mesas, bancos, fuente, barbacoa y abundante arboleda), lo que permitió que los romeros se deleitaran con las bellas vistas del puente románico, fechado en el Siglo XIII.
